The Ideal Destination for Large-Scale Residential Conferences

Discover a new era of residential conferencing at The Forde Suites, our reimagined conference centre built for immersive multi day corporate events. Whether hosting strategic leadership retreats or large annual conferences, The Forde Suites blends elegance, flexibility, and comfort.

The Forde Suite accommodates up to 1,000 theatre style or 750 banqueting guests and can divide into four smaller spaces. Residential delegates benefit from on site accommodation, adaptable meeting rooms, excellent dining, and leisure facilities including Ireland’s Premier Spa Resort and a modern leisure centre. Guests can stay in deluxe rooms, executive suites, or spacious lodges.

Sustainability is central to operations. The Johnstown Estate has held a 100% Green Energy Certificate since 2020 and participates in the Fáilte Ireland Climate Action Programme, using The Johnstown Estate Carbon Calculator to measure emissions, track performance, and identify reductions for future sustainability planning efforts.

Manor House Meeting Rooms

Echoing The Estate’s luxurious Georgian provenance, we have 8 tastefully decorated meeting rooms of various sizes in the original Manor House, the majority of which have beautiful solid oak boardroom tables for between 2 and 16 people. Others are flexible for up to 30 people for training or seminars. All have natural daylight, or overlook our light filled, glass-ceilinged atrium. The Mezzanine Gallery connects all the Manor meeting spaces and is the perfect spot for coffee breaks and checking emails.
