Some very special guests live in our enchanted woodland. While the fairies welcome visitors into the woodland, they can be shy and may not appear by themselves. Usually children are the only ones lucky enough to catch a glimpse, so tell them to keep their eyes peeled for the magic.
Our Leisure Centre features a 20m swimming pool with separate kids’ pool and outdoor hot tub. For now, unfortunately, our thermal facilities including sauna, jacuzzi and steam room are closed as a precaution against Covid-19.
Enjoy a cycle around The Johnstown Estate with views of the Blackwater River or venture a little further and enjoy the Royal Canal Walkway located close to the hotel.
Our custom-built play area is ideal for your little ones to have fun in our green located at the centre of our self-catering lodges.
Tayto Park is a fun-filled park which is one of the first of its kind in Ireland with over 100 attractions. Located 40 minutes from the Estate.
